Why Did God Create Humans?

Why did God create humans when He knew we'll sin?

I believe God created humans for fellowship, one reason why He created spirit creatures, I believe. Indeed, He knew beforehand that humans would sin and even foreordained His Son to be the sacrifice before the world began (1 Peter 1:20). God knew the "risks" involved, but He also foresaw the splendid "end," that ultimately, there will be righteous people redeemed by His Son's blood and these people will forever enjoy a sacred relationship with Him.

God is a very personal God. Notice how He does so many things through people as His agents; for example, He used prophets to deliver His messages and used Moses to deliver Israel out of Egypt. He could have done everything by Himself, but He instead chose a personal interaction with His elect to do His will.

God is full of emotions, and we can see this not only in His Word but in our own selves as creatures made in God's spiritual image. We're emotional creatures with a full spectrum of emotions and feelings, and among them is the desire/yearning to connect with others, to enjoy someone's company. So I believe this reflects how God is. He desires that connection with intelligent creatures.

When we have our own kids, we can't guarantee or know how they will turn out to be unlike God. But like God, we desire a people of our own to love and connect with.

In the "end," which is eternity, God saw that the good greatly outweighs the bad. Those who will remain forever will experience a glory that cannot be compared to our current suffering, and they'll bask in it eternally. It will be worth all the "risks" taken and pain.

Thanks to our Lord Jesus for making that possible! To be part of God's eternal, glorious Kingdom in the future, repent of all your sins today and embrace the Christ as your Lord and Savior! Do not wait, for tomorrow may be too late! When we die or Christ returns, whichever comes sooner, the chance to repent will be gone!
